Snowmobile Granite Hot Springs

If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary or just want to stay on the trail, consider taking the half-day tour to Granite Hot Springs. This tour is truly off the beaten path and offers a trip deep into the Wyoming wilderness, which encompasses 287,000-acres. Famous for its amazing geological features, from alpine peaks to red, purple and yellow rocky slopes, it is best known for the Gros Ventre Slide, which formed Slide Lake, back in 1925 from a huge landslide on Sheep Mountain. If you’re seeking a peaceful and remote day, this is a fantastic tour option in an interesting location.

Greys River Snowmobile Tour

The Greys River Tour offers beautiful views as you cruise along this wild river, which is 62 miles long. The river itself originates in the Wyoming Range south of the town of Alpine and flows into the Snake River Canyon. The Greys River is a fast-moving mountain stream that separates the high Wyoming Range from the Salt River Range. A local’s favorite, you won’t be disappointed with this less crowded tour through western Wyoming.

What should I bring on the tour?

  • Winter clothing to be prepared for the cold, snowy conditions
  • Balaclava to protect and keep your face warm
  • Thermal underlayers to stay warm and dry outdoors
  • A valid driver’s license to legally drive the snowmobile
  • A camera to capture every memory-filled moment

What is your Cancellation & Rebooking Policy?

  • Individual Tours must be cancelled with at least 48-hours prior to departure. You must call us 2 days prior to the departure time of your tour.
  • Group Tours must be cancelled with at least 72-hours prior to your departure. You must call us 3 days prior to the departure time of your tour.

Do you Require a Deposit?

Snowmobile tours must be 100% paid for in advance.

Are tips included?

Our professional guides word hard to keep you safe, comfortable and create a memorable experience for all of our guests.

  • Individual tips are up to the discretion of guests.
  • A 20% gratuity is automatically included for Private Tours and Group Tours with more than 8 guests.

Do you offer insurance in case a Snowmobile gets damaged?

Guests are responsible for 100% of any snowmobile damages incurred during their tour unless they pay for insurance. Insurance is sold in the form of a damage waiver. Please bring cash for one of two options:

  • $25 for a $1000 deductible on a standard snowmobile.
  • $35 for a $1150 deductible on a powder snowmobile.

** Damage waivers are considered null and void if the guest is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or driving recklessly against the guides instructions.

Are reservations required?

Yes, due to limited access to national parks and forests, please schedule your trip as far in advance as possible.

How old do you need to be to drive?

Drivers must be at least 16 years old with a state-issued driver’s license.

Is there an age minimum for kids?

Yes, kids need to be at least 5 years old and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Can we hire an extra driver if we have extra child passengers?

Yes, we will provide an experienced driver if you have more kids than adults in your party, or if you simply prefer to ride tandem. A private guide fee will be applied to the cost of your tour.

How many people do we need to book a private tour?

You must meet a 4-snowmobile minimum to book a private tour. If you only have 3 drivers, you can go. But you still need to pay for 4. Private tours include a private guide fee of $475 plus 20% gratuity. Private tours are not available from December 17th to January 2nd.

Are tours ever canceled?

We have a 4-snowmobile minimum requirement for group and private tours. It is a rare occurrence, but if we do not have at least 4 snowmobiles booked, we will reschedule you for a different day.

We also reserve the right to cancel tours in case of hazardous weather.

Do you still go out if there is a storm?

Expect winter weather. Tours will go out in the cold, rain and snow. If the weather is hazardous, we will reschedule your trip or offer you a credit.
