Relax as you take in the beauty of Yellowstone National Park during a chauffeured trip to Old Faithful. Your driver will be an experienced guide who will share his knowledge of the Yellowstone ecosystem. During your journey, you will make plenty of stops along the way to take in the sites and to learn about the history of Yellowstone. This Old Faithful Snowcoach Tour is offered throughout the winter starting December 15 through March 15th.
- Duration of the trip: 12 Hours
- Morning pick up times: 6:00-7:00am
- Comfortable warm snowcoach, not a snowmobile
Winter is a great time to visit Yellowstone because there are far less visitors. The only way to see Yellowstone in the winter is by snowcoach, snowmobile, cross country skiing or snowshoeing. The snowcoach is the only warm way to see Yellowstone. What is a snowcoach? Our snowcoaches are the same buses we use for our summer tours, but mounted on oversized low-pressure tires. These tires allow our coaches to travel smoothly over the snow, while keeping you higher up for better viewing.

About Old Faithful
Old Faithful is a cone geyser that got its name during a government funded expedition in the late 1800s. As the name suggests, Old Faithful has predictably erupted every 44-90 minutes since 2000. Over one million eruptions have been recorded.
Here is a trivia question: What is the largest geyser in Yellowstone National Park? Well, it is not Old Faithful. Steamboat Geyser is the largest geyser in the park.
Our Old Faithful Snowcoach Tour is a great way to see Yellowstone National Park in the warmth of a van if you do not wish to snowmobile.
